What a week

August 9, 2012

Well we are home.  This has been a trying week.  A rollersoaster at CHOC, with lots of opinion on how to deal with our issue.  We ended up in OICU due to some concern over Williams heartrate.  Tried a few things hoping it would help..they were bad choices but we all learned a few things.  One…Will on steriods is a no no…either a raging bull or a crying zombie…no thank you to both.  Two the hospital is the LAST option..to say that Will was difficult would be waaayyyyy below the mark.  We also have discovered that NO is an option, it is one that we will use as needed for sure.  Also too many chef’s in the kitchen make for bad goulash.  So I guess we can take away that we added a bit to our learning curve and that complete exhaustion and frusteration can be awesome motivators.  Love you all.

  3. Sabrina, Michael and William:

We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear that you have come home.

Sabrina, I own a small catering company and cook for a lot of people, if you ever need a meal throw it out there to me at 338-2701 or ekruger1@cox.net. I am happy to cook on a as needed basis or daily or whatever would help you guys out. I actually take meals to a few other people on a regular basis so adding another one in for your family would be no problem,

Try to get some rest as I know you are both exhausted. Know that everyone is here to support your family.

    XOXO

  4. Dear William, Sabrina and Michael,

I don’t think that my last email made it to you, but I was so happy to see all of you at the Fund Raiser. I wanted so much to just hug and hold Will, but at least I got to give him a kiss. You all have so many friends and family that are here for you so remember to ask if you need us.
Love and kisses to all of you, Aunt Vicki and Wally
